Israeli Policy in the Occupied Palestinian Territories: Studies in Annexation and Judaization

Abstract:

This volume comprises six articles translated into Arabic from the Journal of Palestine Studies (issued by IPS in English), including personal testimonies and eyewitness reports, on three main themes. The first is a range of Israeli policies and tactics: land expropriation in the occupied Palestinian territories, the implantation of settlements, the creation of a Palestinian economy that is dependent on Israel, the suppression of personal, academic, and journalistic freedoms, and administrative detention and systematic torture in Israeli prisons. The second theme analyzes the colonial Israeli economy, and the third discusses the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, and Israel policy towards this issue.
