The Palestinian State: Israeli and Western Opinions

Abstract:

A compilation of translations of three reports issued in English in 1989, that reflect unofficial Israeli and Western points of view on the settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict and the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state or political entity in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Jerusalem, under various conditions. These reports were prepared by researchers at the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies at Tel Aviv University, the Rand Corporation in the United States, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs in Great Britain.
