A compilation of translations of Israeli Hebrew newspapers to present the analyses and positions of Israeli politicians, writers and journalists regarding the two years that immediately followed the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. It discusses the Israeli-Lebanese negotiations that concluded with the signing of the May 17, 1983 agreement, the growth of the Lebanese national resistance, and the abrogation of the agreement on March 5, 1984.
