Abstract: 

This volume includes 29 reports and articles written by economic experts and analysts concerning the Israeli economic crisis in Israel in the 1980s, which was exacerbated by the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. Translated from Hebrew, the articles are arranged in three sections: the first is concerned with the main economic developments in Israel since the war of 1973, the second is devoted to the effects of military spending on the Israeli economy, and the third deals with the social impact of the economic crisis, including its effect on immigration and emigration.
